Located at the west end of the sandy section of Baldwin Beach Park is Maui’s north shore “Baby Beach”. There is also a Baby Beach on the west side in Lahaina, so don't get them confused. This “Baby Beach” is found by taking a left into Sprecklesville, just at mile marker 5 on Hana Hwy as you’re headed toward the town of Paia.
You'll see the blue public beach access sign. After about a half mile the road veers right, then take an immediate left onto Kealakai Place. The end of this road opens up into a clay parking lot with views of the blue ocean greeting you with a warm welcome. Baby Beach will be on the right. There is a large reef formation creating a long, narrow, and shallow warm water pool.
Baby Beach is great for kids and babies as it is protected from ocean surges and swells and always remains relatively calm. There are several little tide pools to search for sea shells and sea life. At the east end of this long golden stretch of white, sandy beach is Baldwin Beach Park.
