As you travel east on Hana Hwy, before you reach Paia, youíll discover Baldwin Beach Park. You canít miss Baldwin because of its large baseball and soccer playing field to the left off of Hana Hwy. This beach is great for beachcombing and relaxing due to its large expanse of soft, white sand that reaches all the way back to Baby Beach at its western end.
At Baldwin Beach there is a picnic pavilion with picnic tables, BBQ pits, and lifeguards. The middle of the beach, west of the dirt parking lot, is good for body surfing and body boarding, but be aware that the sand here can be a little rough on your skin if you land in it wrong.
Baldwin Beach is a favorite along the north shore of Maui because of its easy access, full facilities and long stretch of pristine sand, that makes it the best beach on tnhe north shore for a beach walk. There are awesome views of the West Maui Mountains, and sunsets here are amazing, with colors that bounce off the clouds at the mountain's edge. On a clear day you can see the island of Molokai. Located a half mile from Paia town, you could spend an entire day discovering the beauty and convenience of this slice of Mauiís north shore.
